I will preface this review by saying that I really wanted to hate this brush. I wanted it to be overhyped so that I could say I tried it then return it. However, that is not the case. It is amazing on my fine (but lots of it!) hair! Smooth's the hair without being overly flat or greasy Brush the night before and almost no tangles when I wake up Less hair loss in the shower Less hair loss on my brush No more frizzies Great shine Very soft and manageable No more itchy scalp I need a lot less hair oil to moisturize my ends If I lost it I would be devastated - and drop another $205 on a new one

Brush your hair every day? Pay $60 haircut? Why would you even question spending $200 on a brush? This brush has dramatically saved my long fine hair from damage/split ends and cutting out tangles - lots of wavy fine hair. I have had this brush for at least 7 years and it still looks new. I use a wide tooth comb to clean out the hair after each use.

I wanted to hair back from when I was younger. Soft, shiny, no split ends, long, and wavy. I tried ALL KINDS of expensive shampoos and conditioners and treatments, BUT no significant change. I though that there was something to this distributing Oils from my skill onto my hair, so I gave this brush to try. It works! My husband noticed a difference on day one! I love my hair again, and I wear it down a great deal more because it looks beautiful and not dry and Dull as before... This is the product that no-one realizes they should have but everyone should have use daily! The secret is out! Plus, now I am saving major money on not buying crazy concoctions to keep my hair from drying out and losing it shine. It was never the shampoo or the conditioner or the leave in treatments. Those did nothing significant for me. I needed a good brush!!! A MUST BUY!!

I debated back and forth about the value of a Mason Pearson brush for a long time. My sister and I gifted each other the Handy brush for Christmas and we both LOVED it but I wasn't getting the scalp benefits out of it that she was, and found I was needing to section out my hair for brushing. I ended up giving the brush to my mom and getting the Popular, which is much better suited for my thick, waist length hair. It is worth every penny. It is the only brush that doesn't hurt as it gets out my tangles, and it gives you a really nice scalp massage as you brush. My hair looks healthier and less frizzy now after regular brushing. I am obsessed.

I was skeptical about committing a huge investment for a hair brush, but something on the inside of my wondering spirit made me do it! And boy am I glad I did! My inner thoughts of how well this brush was going to be turned out to be that and more than a handful of bags of chips! I have thick hair and using this brush makes it effortless to brush my hair from root to end. However, I always start my brushing technique from the ends all the way up to the roots. I do this by brushing it in short small strokes to detangle my hair. Once my hair is detangled, thats when the real fun begins with the long straight strokes from top-down begins. My hair is really smooth and completely tangle free. I love it and if you don't have one, then you should get one. I promise you, your hair will never be the same!
