Life changing
Until recently, I just didn't value spending a ton of money on products that were available with reasonable quality for less. And then I invested in a professional hair dryer (Velecta Paramount) and my eyes opened.
I have super thin hair that tends to run oily at the scalp, but super dry at the ends. My hair is also pretty long, with the shortest layers shoulder length and longest layers 3/4 down my back. Since my hair is so thin, I've always been concerned about how much is pulled out by my brush, especially since my dry ends tangle like no other (but I love my hair long!).
This hair brush is the first (among many many many that I've tried) that I don't feel like I have to hold my hair with one hand while
"ripping" the hairbrush through with the other. It is incredibly gentle, and leaves my hair looking like it has much more body. My hair is also lightly wavy, and while other brushes pull it straight, this one seems to leave those soft waves in.
The construction of the brush is solid- feels great in hand and is the perfect size for someone who does not have a lot of hair or whose hair is thin, but wants the nylon spikes to help detangle. I would say that if you have thick or a lot of hair, you should go up in size.

Poor quality, disappointing
I thought this would be a better quality for the price. It is a lightweight plastic feel of the brush. I have really thick hair and the bristles didn't even come close to penetrating all the way down to my scalp. I need a brush that is going to fully exfoliate and massage my scalp when I brush it. Not worth the money. I returned this product.

Mixed feelings
I bought this brush a year ago. The hand and weight of the handle (although for this amount of money, I expected more than plastic) as well as the feel of the bristles was excellent, and my general experience was much like the other reviewers. Unfortunately, I recently left the brush in a hotel room and it was lost. So the question became, "do I replace this brush or would a less expensive alternate work as well?". I bought a MUCH less expensive brush and I am completely satisfied. So my final assessment is that this brush is too expensive by miles. Unless you've got an extra $125 lying around, spend your money on a nice blouse.

Too pricey to be loosing bristles
This is the first boar hair brush I have owned that cost this much and that could penetrate all the way to my scalp. This brush really makes a difference when I use it. But I have not even had this brush for four months and the bristles are coming out of the brush. I've lost three to four already. I'm not abusing the brush in any way, shape or form. For the amount of money it cost it should not be doing this at all. I've read reviews where people have had their bushes for years and years. There is no way this brush is going to last one year let alone many with the bristles coming out left and right. I 'd like to exchange it for another. Maybe I just got a defective one.

Mason Pearson Brush
I have used Mason Pearson brushes for 40 (yes, that is forty ) years. I have never been able to find another brush that can replace it. It will go through your hair wet or dry and I have NEVER had split ends. My hair is extremely long and it will go through tangles without any damage. I let my neighbor try one on her 4 and 6 year olds, who have a fit when they get their hair brushed. Not one complaint, but wanted my brush. Pricey, but so worth it !

Not just your ordinary brush
I first saw this brush in a store saw that it was better made than the brushes you buy at the grocery store or local chain. It even comes with a brush cleaner. I decided to try it and was amazed how it made my hair feel so much better and easier to style. It is made of high quality wood and not recommended for blow drying or on wet hari.I have fine hair but a lot of it and I'm finding that I'm not having as much breakage as with a cheaper brush.
This is indeed a brush that will last for a long time with proper care. I'm glad I purchased this brush.

Came super dusty, but works so far
This is my first time ordering a brush like this, so I am not sure how it is supposed to be. But, it came super dusty looking and the dust won’t come off. It does make my hair softer and shiny though.
