Marietta Bodycon Slip & G-String Set Lingerie

Okay so off the bat *I* didn't notice the cups were a different material than the rest of the garment when I ordered, so was slightly disappointed to open the package and notice, but that one's on me. However, the stitching on the cups is Not Good. Puckering and wonky, but I was hopeful it would be not as noticeable or problematic on. Unfortunately the cups are just way too small for me and the satiny material has no give, negative give even. The material pulls and makes my breasts look somehow lumpy, flat, and pointy all in one. And don't get me wrong I love a good conical bullet bra moment but this just isn't it. I do really love the way the body of the dress looks, and the material/elastic seams are much more forgiving than the cups. If the whole garment was made out of that material this would be a completely different story. I'll probably try to redesign the top if I ever get a me-day to play around with my sewing machine, but unfortunately it's just not something I'll end up wearing unless I can resolve the problematic bits. The matching undies also felt small compared to the other same size styles I bought. The strings dug into my sides no matter how high or low I tried to set them on my hips. Honestly an outfit like this doesn't really need underwear so I'm less bothered by the fit on those. For sizing reference I bought an XL, I'm 5'2" 165 lbs, 36DDD, bust 43", waist 33", hips 42". I purchased another lingerie set and a lounge set, as well as 10 pairs of underwear, everything size XL. Only 1 pair of underwear also ran small, and the lounge set ran a bit large, so the sizing on this piece is not true to size for other Adore Me pieces.
