East Village Penny Loafer (Women)

Beautiful Paton leather ~~ I love the look. I read the reviews but didn’t act on the shoes running large, I’m sorry to say. I have more than enough toe space, and the width is plentiful in an eight (8). Paton leather can stretch, so I’ve ordered a second pair in a smaller size (7 1/2) to be certain which size is a better fit. In the meantime, I cannot wait to wear them. But I will wait.

This is my third pair of Marc Joseph East Village loafers, purchased the gray patent, navy patent and black patent. Have tried at least 10 others from various brands, these are the only ones that fit well and are comfortable. I sized down 1/2 size after reading reviews and they are just right after a brief break in period. The vamp is shorter but I find it elongates the leg and is good for my high instep. Looks nice with ankle length pants or skirts. Leather lining too, highly recommend.

I really love the color. I bought a size 91/2 and it fit a little too tight. I was going to get them stretched because I liked them so much. However, I noticed Nordstrom Rack had the shoe for less than 1/2 the price. I bought the same red pair and a black pair. I also both them in a size 10. Yes- I am juiced!!
