Zala Block Heel Pump (Women)

Purchased in size 6.5M in Latte. I generally have wide feet, so I was pleasantly surprised that the shoe didn't squeeze my toes too much, even with the pointed toe. The height is comfortable, and the block heel is pretty stable. There is some toe cleavage, and the edge of the shoe is a little sharp, but I hope it will get more comfortable with wear. The bottoms of the shoe are smooth, so it can be a little slippery on tile. The Latte color is a nice light neutral shade. Unfortunately, the pair I received was obviously a floor sample that people have tried on (it said so right on the box). The toes on both shoes are already scuffed and have scratches. This seems to happen whenever I receive something from the NJ store.... I would love to exchange it if I could get in touch with Nordstrom's customer service.

I was very hopeful of these shoes after reading the reviews. However, upon opening both and 8 and 8.5, I found these shoes to be the most uncomfortable pair of pumps I had ever TRIED to slip my feet into. The shoes are made of a very hard and stiff material. There was no way these were going to work.

I've been looking for a pair of block-heel pumps that had the right height and was chic at the same time. The Zala Pump from Marc Fisher was perfect! I didn't even have to break them in. It fit true to size. I love that it is pointy - it looks sleek and feminine. I'm 7/12M and have flat feet. I've worn this pair 4 times and it hasn't hurt my feet nor has it given me blisters. This is great for women transitioning from stilettos to a more comfortable and stable footwear. I'm in my 40's and I figured it's best to refrain from shoes that could potentially cause further damage to my feet and knees. I'm no Carrie Bradshaw after all! I bought a pair in gray and already looking into purchasing a blush one.
