Miyuki Slide Sandal (Women)

First of all, this took forever to get to me. For some reason the delivery date keeps changing. But what’s even more annoying is that all that waiting for nothing. When I took them out of the box I could already tell something was wrong. It looked like they were different styles! One was wider than the other; and one was way more “braidy” than the other. It was also VERY clunky. Wasted my time waiting for this and there’s no way I could wear this since the difference was actually very obvious. Even my fiancé who barely notices anything immediately noticed it when I held it in front of him and asked if he notices anything different. Immediately he was like “ooh they sent you different styles?” Ugh. Also, if someone out there still wants to give this a try, I suggest you go at least a half size up. I am literally always a size 5 but I guess this brand runs small because I’m a size 5.5 in this. I have narrow feet as well so I didn’t have a problem with it being narrow, but just an f.y.i : it runs short and narrow.

I tried on several different pairs of sandals that look similar to these. However, none of the others compared to the quality of the Miyuki Slide. One reason I chose these is because they are far more comfortable than all the others and I think that is because they are made from genuine leather. Many of the others, especially the ones at a cheaper price point, are not made of genuine leather. So if you’re ordering online beware of that. I found them to be comfortable from the very first step I took. No breaking in period needed at all. I purchased the black and I plan to buy another pair in a different color. If you’re on the fence about buying these, just go for it. I think you’ll be very pleased with these “on trend,” excellent quality sandals that simply hug your feet.
