MARC BY MARC JACOBS 'Too Hot to Handle' Hobo

I am obsessed with this bag- it is the perfect size and shape for everyday use. The arm strap is a great size for slipping over your shoulder, while the crossbody strap is a true crossbody length (and adjustable), unlike some other MJ bags, which can run really short. Unfortunately after only TWO wears, I noticed that the logo on the outside of the bag (gold lettering) was faded off completely in some spots. I know this can happen over time, but not after 2 days! I will be exchanging this for something hopefully similar.

I saw this handbag on the show Parenthood. The character, Sarah has been carrying it for the last season. It's quite simple yet classy. It's the perfect every day bag. The leather is soft and smells very rich in quality. I went with the black leather, you can't go wrong with black, it's forever trendy. The hardware is a brushed gold and accents the black beautifully. I really like the fact it doesn't scream MBMJ on the bag, the name plate is the perfect size. Thanks to Nordstrom's Friends and Family sale, I picked this up at an amazingly good price!

I love it when my handbag feels like a natural extension of myself, if that makes any sense. Like a comfortable old pair of shoes or jeans. This bag does that for me. It kind of molds into my arm or side, depending on how I carry it. The size, shape and supple soft leather are the reasons why. Handling and carrying the bag is a pleasure. The quality is definitely there. Since I'm not a frequent bag switcher, I did a lot of research before investing in this one. For something I use every day and am fiddling with multiple times a day, I want something that will last, look classic and beautiful and feel good on my arm, shoulder and cross body. I found all that in this elegant bag. Go for it, ladies!

i purchased this in the mink color. the pics of mink on-line don't really do it justice. it looks tan, but it's really more of a grey color. i am in love! when worn on the shoulder it just hugs your body perfectly. love it!

I got this bag in the Turkish Tile color, and it is beautiful, the leather is nice, and I get lots of complements on it, but the internal organization is awful. The pockets at the top don't hold anything more than a lipstick, and if you put anything in them, they slouch over and hid things at the bottom of the bag. It's like a black hole sucked up your phone, keys, and anything else that because of weight has a tendency to fall to the bottom of the bag. I like it enough to keep using it, but everything small etc, I now pack in brightly colored makeup bags so I don't have to empty my bag 3 times a day looking for things.
