Everyday Cabas Leather Hobo Bag

I’ve only had this bag for a week but I can say that I am def in LOVE! I was looking for a bag big enough to put some diapers and wipes in aside from my everyday items. I don’t really like carrying a backpack. The leather is soft and buttery, it has a laid back slouchy look, and the one strap is great! (Doesn’t fall off my shoulder) I was nervous that it would be hard to grab stuff because of the one handle and slouchyness, but really, it’s not bad. I have a couple of smaller bags I keep my lipgloss etc. to keep from going to the bottom and to keep me organized and it hasn’t been a problem. It’s also a quiet luxury. Doesn’t scream designer from the outside, but you really feel the luxury just by holding it. I’m very happy with this purchase! If you’re on the fence, try it out! You will not regret it!

The width of the bag is 13”, so it’s more square than vertical look, like pic. 10 inches is bottom edge to edge. So I was disappointed when pulling it out, thinking as if a wrong bag. But as I tried it on adding a wallet and a cosmetic pouch, it did give the “vertical look”, without being a rectangle, tall bag. Definitely can hold plenty. Love this blue. Wouldn’t be interested in other colors. The blue color is gorgeous and it’s the main reason if I decide to keep (too many bags).

Lovely, well-made, well-sewn (no stray strings) navy blue shoulder bag. The leather is not too thick and not too thin. The bag is not heavy, stays on the shoulder, and fits all necessary items with room for more. This bag will look better over time as it ages and is worn. I paired this bag with a silver wallet. This bag has a quiet, everyday elegance.

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent bag purchase from Nordstrom. The first time I ordered the bag, I received what was clearly a used item — it had visible signs of wear and did not appear brand new. I returned it and reordered, assuming it was a one-time mistake. Unfortunately, the replacement bag I received was also used. The bag was not even in the dist bag. It was crumpled inside a plastic bag like a trash. Receiving a used item once is frustrating, but twice is unacceptable. Now I have to spend additional time and gas making yet another return for an issue that should never have happened in the first place. For a retailer like Nordstrom, I expect much better quality control and customer care. This experience has been incredibly inconvenient and disappointing. I hope they take steps to ensure customers actually receive new merchandise when purchasing new items.
