Man Parfum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Jimmy Choo Man Parfum is excellent! It opens with an excellent sweet citrusy spicy fragrance and dries into a beautiful amber. It starts out with medium sillage & high projection, then quickly mellows out to low sillage and arm’s length projection where it stays for most of the day or evening (this for me is the sweet spot). It is definitely more of an evening or fall/winter fragrance in my opinion, but the daring could certainly pull this off year round.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Jimmy Choo Man Parfum is bold in more ways than one. The actual packaging itself is classic. It reminds you of your grandfather’s cologne with the all-gold trim and golden box. The actual container itself is almost like a golden mirror, and it’s extremely reflective, so you can tell it’s made well. As for the scent, there’s nothing “grandfatherly” about it. In fact, I would say the scent is pretty edgy compared to the packaging it comes in, which is exciting! The top notes are Bergamot and Black Pepper, but ironically the notes that really stand out are the orange blossoms and lilacs. It’s a sweet scent, and is not like typical men’s colognes. There’s no generic base smell to the scent of this one, which is honestly a welcome change. It’s not a traditional scent for men, but I think that’s what makes it so interesting. In a crowd of other men, you’ll stand out thanks to all the interesting notes. As far as projection, it’s not overwhelming and doesn’t flood the room. If you’re within conversation distance, someone will definitely pick it up, and it might honestly make them lean closer. As for the season, this is definitely a Summer/Autumn scent. No question about it. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to smell sweet, masculine, and maybe even slightly rebellious. I promise this smell will make a statement without demanding all the attention in the room.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoyed this scent. Bergamot, orange peel, and patchouli dominate this Parfum. It’s pleasant and not too in your face. However, I will say that this scent is very strong. It projects far and is not a scent to be worn on an intimate setting. I use only one spray and that is plenty enough. I’ll be wearing this more often, but I have to be selective on where. For how strong it can be it’s more suited for dinner or events that have an open space.
