I’m 60, with very good skin for my age (I can pass for my late forties, or so I’m told). But foundation doesn’t apply or stay the way it used to. And age spots? Let me bore you with some stories! This stuff brings me back to my thirties, when makeup smoothed on easily and covered my imperfections without extra work. And talk about lasting-! If I forget to take my foundation off at night (guilty! OFTEN!!), it’s still THERE the next morning. And no touch ups. As far as giving me a hydration boost goes, I dunno. I have pretty dry skin. But it does the job a primer is supposed to do, and I’m pretty pleased. Btw—LESS IS MORE, here, gang. Too much, and it doesn’t work as well.

Scent gave me a headache immediately. No.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is so strongly scented that I immediately got a headache the second I put it on. I cannot understand why there is such a strong perfume but I will never be wearing it again. Bummer, because it has a very nice consistency but it smells like someone overcompensating for cigarette smoke or BO. Way too intense.

Pricey for what you get.
This primer has a very lightweight feel. It is more like a tinted moisturizer for fair skin. It blends well under makeup and leaves your face feeling dewey. My only issue with it is that it doesn’t blur my nose and cheek pores enough. Ulta has less expensive brands that do an equally effective (or better) job priming your face for the day.
