Herringbone Cotton Pajamas

I've purchased pajamas from Nordstrom for at least a dozen years because they offered a product with sewn plackets. To my great disappointment, my recent pajama purchase had unsewn plackets. The sewing-down of plackets may not seem to be a big issue, but quality is in the details. The small detail of sewing plackets is what truly distinguished Nordstrom's products and selections from the competition. I'll continue to seek a quality product, even if I have to sew my own plackets! Ultimately, I remain confident that customer service at Nordstrom is superior to most but as always (when it comes to specific items) "buyer beware".

Men's PJs seem to have become a "seasonal" gift item so we had to talk to a phone representative who ordered the product directly shipped to us from the manufacturer. Arrived in speedy manner with regular shipping sealed in an excessively thick plastic bag. These pajamas are very heavy weight material that I would describe as "winter" wear. The drawstring works well but the elastic is skimpy. For the price (top of the line) you'd think they could put a loop on the shirt so one doesn't wear out the neckline hanging it on a hook. The pants have a loop but loops are not mentioned in the description of the product so the phone rep couldn't tell us whether loops were included or not.

After seeing how much I love wearing pajamas (for years), my husband asked for a pair. And, after reading dozens of reviews for dozens of different brands, I chose Nordstrom's Herringbone PJs for him. He loves, loves, loves them! The fit is perfect for him and the cut/workmanship is excellent. It's a great value and a great product.

Cheaply made pjs not worth one star Did anyone in Nordstrom ever look at these pjs and notice the poor manufacturing quality? -Unfinished look because single thread was used rather than double thread. - No loop on pants -Belt too thin and short -Cheap cotton cloth. -Button holes cut horizontally, not vertically, are not user- friendly. Nearly all mens shirts sold in the US have vertical holes. Button hole on fly too small While it was still operating I always got my pjs from Brooks Brothers at a price similar to these. But these pjs cannot compare with BB. I am returning them tomorrow.
