Matcha Green Tea sweet floral
At first spray, it smells like an exact replica of matcha powder. I smell green grass and matcha green tea mixed with wild flowers and vanilla. I do not get powder notes at all. So, if on the fence, try it; I love it and will buy a big bottle. It’s different. My teenager said it smells like dirt ... lol ... but I love it after it dries down on the skin for about 5 minutes. This isn’t one I spray on clothes because it holds that mossy sharp green note. The longer I wear it on my skin, the less moss I smell and more white chocolate. After 8 hours, all I smell is a light vanilla scent. Overall, I would describe this as warm sweet floral.
I also wear My Way, By The Fireplace, The Only One and Donna Born in Roma.

Way too strong
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The scent is way too strong for how floral it is, if the scent of this was more mild it would be a great perfume but it’s overpowering and gives me a horrible headache.

Mixed feelings
I bought this in the travel size to try out because I love Replica and Nordstrom, so I wanted to give this a try before buying the full size.
On first spray it definitely smells like matcha which I love. But it has an almost powdery finish that I don't love. It dries down to have a lovely vanilla finish. I'm intrigued to see how this wears and how the scent will smell over time.
For right now I definitely have mixed feelings about it. Hoping it will smell less powdery and mature as it wears!

Comparing to Tea Escape
On me, it has prominent notes of Jasmine and Matcha with just a hint of mandarin and white chocolate.
Bought in hopes it would be close to the discontinued MM Tea Escape.
If you're comparing like I am- To me, Tea Escape smells like a creamy sweet green tea. Matcha Mediation is a stronger, powdery floral version of it, minus the milk accord.
I'll probably buy the full size after I run out of Tea Escape. But I am glad to have the travel size of Matcha Mediation for now.

White chocolate finish
This smells so warm and cozy. Upon spraying I’m able to smell the matcha strongly. As time goes it definitely smells more like white chocolate. If you like light and clean scents this may not be for you

Great Spring/Summer Scent!
This has been my go-to staple this season. I bought the travel spray first, and purchased the full size once I realized I was halfway done! I absolutely adore this scent so much- I love the burst of green tea you get, followed by the sweet sweet white chocolate notes and a powdery finish. It's not very strong; my partner was unable to smell it while sitting next to me an hour later. However it lingers in your hair and skin all day, and that's personally my cup of tea. From my experience and body chemistry, the green tea fades pretty quickly but the white chocolate lasts for ages.

Not what I was hoping for
I have been searching high and low for the perfect tea scent. I was hoping this was it, but ultimately, I'm disappointed. If they took the white chocolate note out, I would probably love it, but it ruins the otherwise fresh and truly tea-like notes that comprise the rest of the fragrance. Luckily, I found Memoire by Gucci, which is the exact scent I was looking for. Matcha Meditation (such a good name) ends up just being another powdery sweet fragrance aimed at teenagers and 20-somethings.
