What it is: A scented candle that warms any room in your home with the scent of By the Fireplace.

Fragrance story: The sweetness of a winter evening by the fireplace. Brightness, freshness and the purity of newly fallen snow through the frozen window. Day breaks. Outside it's snowing on a frosty, cold landscape. Inside the flames of a comforting fire crackle in the fireplace. By the Fireplace is the brand's first feminine and masculine fragrance, evoking a morning by the fireplace in Chamonix in the 1970s.

Style: Warm, spicy.

Notes:

- Top: pink pepper, orange flower petals, clove oil

- Middle: chestnut accord, guaiac wood oil, cade oil

- Base: vanilla accord, Peru balsam, cashmeran

How to use: Burn between one and four hours at a time. Ensure the wick is centered to maintain an even pool of candle wax during each burn. Keep the wick trimmed to 1/4-inch at all times to help reduce soot and debris.

Pretty good
Bought this 2 weeks ago and still have 30-40% left, burn approximately 2 hrs a day. The smell is warm and sweet, thats how I describe it.

a winter favorite
We recently replaced our wood-burning fireplace with a gas one and I got this candle to have a fireplace smell. Though it does not smell like our wood-burning fireplace did, I nevertheless like the smell, which is a wintery, spicy smell. This is my fourth candle and as long as they keep making them I will buy more!

Makes my whole room smell so good
As someone who also has the perfume version they both are the same. Usually for products like this where there is a perfume and candle version, they smell different, but that is not the case for these products. The candle has that smokey smell like the perfume which is so enchanting. The candle functions very well too with the burn time being a lot especially since the candle has so much wax to burn.

Potent and burn time
My husband has been using replica for a long time and by the fireplace is his favorite smell so I got him a candle ! The candle leaves your house smelling amazing - a bit smoky a bit fresh and very intriguing. When we have guests we always get compliments on the smell! Very potent and a very long burning time!

Not nearly as strongly scented as the first one I purchased. Still lovely! But given what they cost, I expected more consistency from batch to batch.
