Marlow Sneaker (Men)

Go 1 or 2 sizes down from your normal size. I'm excited to add them to my list of brands I can wear! These caught my eye because I find all the other dressy styled sneakers have that obnoxious all-white sole I refuse to come to terms with. It has a cool dress casual look and love the leather that is incorporated into the sole a well. I asked the salesperson who saw I really liked the shoe if these were good for wide feet. He said they are very wide and huge and I need to size down at least 2 sizes (He sells the most Magnanni's in the store so knows his stuff) . I said I'm a 9.5 or 10 wide. He brought out a 9 and 9.5, but it turned out I needed an 8.5. I told him I'm limited with shoe brands due to who makes widths and he also suggested some other brands for future reference. They fit great, just don't feel weird about sizing down even if you have wide feet. Not much is out there to learn about the brand, but I'm sure we will be hearing more about Magnanni in the near future.

I have several pairs of designer sneakers, Gucci, Prada, Moncler... I have never been so disappointed with a dress sneaker before. Magnanni made a huge mistake on this sneaker. Not only they put leather on the bottom of the shoe, but they also extended that leather to cover the shoes' front end. So after the very first time you wear, that leather along the front tip of the shoe will show clear signs of wear, scratches. This is a dress sneaker, and after the very first wear outside, it will appear as if you have worn this shoe many times. Leather along the sole, curving up along the front end? Not the brightest of ideas.
