Dante Patent Leather Derby (Men)

I am now on my third pair of Magnannis and I am officially a devoted fan! This latest pair, the 'Dante', was purchased last month but it came damaged on the liner inside but my Nordstrom shoe specialist 'Omar' kindly exchanged them for a brand new pair. He is very attentive and knowledgable. Transaction was smooth and pleasurable. Now about the shoes, Like the other Magnanni pairs, these broke in easily and were comfortable after the first day. Bottom line; they are well worth the few extra bucks to get gorgeous Euro styling that makes feet comfortable and fits perfectly as if it's air tight sealed. If you have not bought a pair yet, get to it. You will be glad that you did. The 'Dante' compliments any formal suits or tux and completes the whole slim, fitted look. I've got more compliments on these shoes than my Armani tux I wore at the latest classical concert of Nicola Benedetti. Absolutely love em!

Very nice quality shoes! The back of the heal was very hard (hurt the back of my foot). I ended up "crushing" the back of the shoe a few times to soften it up and it was fine for the rest of the evening. I only wear Italian made shoes so the fact that the back of the heal was so hard was a bit disappointing at this price, but again, if you simply "crush" in the back of the shoe backing (where your heal is), it loosens up a great deal and becomes a fine pair of shoes!
