'Rita' Tankini Top

If you're looking to disguise a less than perfect midsection, this is the suit for you. It's slimming and cute, yet doesn't make you look too matronly. I'm 57 years of age, 5'5", 145 lbs., bra size 34DD/DDD. I ordered a size 12 and it fit fine, though if I had been in a store, versus ordering it online, I may have tried on the 10 just to compare. For reference, I normally wear a size 10 dress. I haven't worn it in the water yet, just on land, so what I don't know is how the extra material/layers will feel when wet.

There is no fit in the top of this swimsuit It fits like a maternity shirt. No snug fit to make you look 10 pounds lighter. When you try to swim in the suit you are surrounded by all the loose fabric. You constantly have to adjust the suit so you are not exposing your stomach too. Great suit if you just like to lay on the beach and not be encumbered. Not what you expect from a Miraclesuit.

For anyone who needs a bit more coverage and does not have a completely flat stomach - BUY THIS!! So cute, slimming and all around fantastic!! Actually, contemplating buying it in another color (coral) - but really don't swim all that too much. However, I would wear this with shorts even - it is that cute!! The straps are adjustable which is so convenient - I always have to have straps shortened ..... not this time! Everything is perfect! Bring on Summer!!

I managed to squeak by in a 16 however I would love this in an 18. Having said that, I've tried on 5 really well made designer suits with a "no way" result. If you want to LOOK GREAT wearing a bathing suit buy this one with matching bottoms which are also amazing! I do really wish Nordstrom would carry more size 18 tankinis. The plus size bathing suits look terrible. Us full busted gals also need more double DD's with widths that are consistent! Ie. 40, 42, 44. The only ones that are tiny around the chest and wear double D's are those with implants, please consider suggestions, thank you.
