V-Neck Faux Leather Fit & Flare Midi Dress

It's a pretty dress but it runs about a size too small, it does stretch though so if you like a snug fit (think bandage A-line dress) your true size will work for you. I wanted a looser fit like the model showed so its not for me. It was also surprisingly hot. I had planned to wear it year round to the office or as a going out dress but as soon as I put it on I knew I wouldn't want to wear it outside of the winter season. Something about the material of the lining/dress makes me want to stand directly under the AC vent as soon as its zipped up.

This dress is very flattering. I tried both colors on and preferred the brown over the black as it seemed easier to dress it down for daytime wear. The material is very soft but does look like pleather. The dress ran large on me. The top half would have needed alterations to make even the smaller size fit. I am petite and this dress was too long and there were no petite sizes. I received many compliments in the dressing room when I tried it on. I took it home but the trying it on at home (where I got a big WOW from my husband, I decided to take it back. I felt it needed too many alterations for the price point which was great. I’m sad there weren’t petites available.
