Floral Halter Neck Dress

I thought I'd be a 4 in this dress but had to re-order in a 2 because it was all around just a lot of fabric throughout, and the arm holes and chest width were big. There's still plenty of room, even in the lining, and even in the hips where I'm definitely not a 2. I'm 5' 4.5" tall and this falls to somewhere around my ankles. It's not floor length unless you're petite so wear cute shoes. The first dress I received smelled of mildew, but the second dress has no odor so hopefully that was just an issue with that one dress. The reviewer before me mentioned static cling. I didn't experience that trying it on but when the days get drier I could see that happening. (Thanks for the heads-up! Might pack a dryer sheet when I wear it!) The colors in person, I found to be a little more muted like the photos, not as vibrant as in the video, but it's still a lot of color. Overall, pretty cute and comfortable and forgiving and modest.

The dress is much more vibrant in real life and is super comfortable and lightweight. The armholes cover enough to hide underarm bulges and your bra! It runs big, but not that big if you have shoulders and hips. You can wear it without the tie and it’s a more flowy, tent dress look, but I prefer the tie to emphasize my hourglass shape because it cinches the waist in perfectly so my 5’3” body doesn’t get lost in the fabric and big print. It’s not too long on me, but I have broad swimmer shoulders and matching hips, 34D, and have regular proportions (not petite), so it might be longer on someone who’s a ruler body type or has petite proportions. My typical size is 6/8 or S/M bottoms and 8/10 or M/L tops and the 8 fit (though I could kept the 6 and possibly squeezed into the 4, but I like a looser fit in warm weather).

Saw it in the different store but they didn't have my size. Order it from Nordstrom's instead.. So already having seen this in the store I knew what to expect the colors are vibrant .I wear a size 14...ordered a 10 and it fit! Yay! I'm 53 and barefoot it's a little too long.. with a low heel should be fine.
