Wanted to love!
I bought these to wear with dresses etc this summer. They are cute and fit like the classic Madrid but something just feels off. The bottoms are not completely flat in the pair I received. And the cork feel flimsy on the arches. Sadly, I will be returning since I wanted to love them.

did not fit like my other birks
Too narrow and long. Doesn’t fit the same as my other birks for some reason. Really wanted to love these bc they would have been so cute with summer outfits but had to return. Also didn’t feel like they would be comfortable to walk in due to the placement of the strap.

Summer Chic!
I'm not one to hop onto my computer and immediately write a review for an item, but I'm genuinely impressed by this item! Feels so elevated for birks. My husband has been trying to get me to like/wear them for the soft footbed for years and I bought a pair of Arizonas last summer (bc incidentally we moved to Arizona), and threw them away. They were heavy and hurt my ankle. This feels way lighter than those. The gold detail buckle I LOVE- way more blingy in the way I love. The raffia feels very chic- this is a perfect neutral shoe that goes with everything in my wardrobe. I'll update on comfort later but definitely beats the designer flip flops I've worn in the past (Valentino, Louboutin) with zero support.
