These sandals are very cute and have the nice Birkenstock Big Buckle detail. They can be paired with wide leg linen pants, maxi skirt, cropped pants and gathered waist shorts. If you kno Birkenstock and looking at the image of the foot bed, the filled in foot, means that they are medium/narrow. If the foot on the inside of the sandal is not filled in, its a regular/wide width sandal.

These are NOT plastic, even though commenters are saying so. The upper and the lining are leather and because they are leather they take time to break in and conform to the shape of your foot. Have a little patience and try breaking them in first before posting a negative review. I've found both pairs I own uncomfortable at first but over a period of time, extremely comfortable.

These are not regular as shown above, but narrow. They need to fix the website that these are not regular (D) to narrow in size. Sadly, I had to return 3 pairs due to them being narrow, and not regular as the website shows.

So disappointing! I have a pair of Madrid sandals in black patent from a couple years ago, in size a 38 that fit perfectly. These are SO NARROW—I tried both the 38 and 39 and they don’t work. Total disappointment.

I missed that they were plastic - the strap and the footbed are a very slick plastic. They were really uncomfortable due to the material and the strap hits at an awkward spot on my foot. Returning.
