Disappointed
I’ve been a really loyal long time Madewell customer and have never disliked anything I’ve ordered until now. I ordered these boots expecting the quality I’m used to from Madewell but the feel and the fit of these just feels really cheap and not of a quality I’m used to from this brand. It also feels like their sizing has changed too, the size I always order (size 6) now feels almost an entire size too big and the proportions of the shoe itself are just really off. Really disappointed.

Solid Western Boot
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wear 8.5/39 in most shoes and I sized down to an 8 in this boot and it fits well. The toe is long, so it will make your foot look long, but it isn't interfering with walking and I think it's a pretty handsome boot overall. I got the suede and it scratches easily, but that's a risk with suede.

It's following EU's size instead of us size, which means, I ordered the smallest 5, but the shoe box arrived was marked 38. The US 5 should be 35, I usually wear 35.5 or 36, so this one is definitely too large.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found these to be very true to size, I think some people are just confused by the elongated toe? Yes there is extra room in the toe- but that’s going to happen with this style. I am a solid size 8, regular width…I ordered an 8 and they fit perfectly. Could I maybe have squeezed into a 7.5 because of the elongated toe…maybe, but at that point the toe would’ve felt too narrow. Super happy with the quality, style and fit- on sale these are a STEAL!
