Insane on Petites
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was hoping that sizing to a 00 would work for me! Sometimes sizing down is enough for it to work for my height. Unfortunately, this dress still overwhelms my frame. The bubble hem looks crazy on me, and the waist hits me too low. Definitely returning. I wish Madewell made more of the dresses in Petite sizing.

Tight around the armpits

Flattering, Lovely Color
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Melody dress style, and this one has become my favorite! The bubble-hem adds a different element than the other Melodies. I went with an XS on this one, which fits better than my other two in small (5'6", 128 lbs, 34-27-37). The waist gathered at my actual waistline, whereas with the other two in small, it hits below my natural waist. Agree with the other reviewer that this is more of a kelly green than how it appears in the photos. Especially on sale, this is a gem!

Nice dress
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Is a nice dress for summer. It rooms a bit large though so I’ll most likely have to return S and order XS instead. The top part material feels a bit rough and scratches my skin. Arm opening are very wide top my liking. Taking one star off. However, overall the dress is beautiful and watch the same price!
