A Very Nice Bag. Really.
I purchased this bag before I read all of the reviews so I wasn't expecting to like it. Well, I'm very happy with it. The soft leather makes reaching in/out of the bag easy. It is roomy enough to hold my wallet, reading glasses, sunglasses, lipsticks (2), mirror, car keys, and some other small items. I put my phone (iPhone X) in the front pocket and have no issues retrieving it. The bag isn't lined, yet that doesn't really bother me. I am using the cloth strap which I really like. Mine is blue and cream color (another review said their strap was brown). So all in all, I am really happy with this bag.

Let down.
I was so excited to get my first Madewell bag and possibly start a collection because I have been admiring them online for a few years. The top of this bag dips down (almost like the zipper is too heavy). When I got it I assumed it looked that way because it was empty but I have had it since January and it’s still the same. I am constantly pulling on it, trying to make it stay up. Wish I would have returned it.

solid and simple
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love a simple, no-frills leather bag. This has held up after a ton of usage. Love that it comes with two straps (cream/black striped canvas and thin black leather), though I do wish the leather strap were finished on both sides (the underside is rough). Very functional design with decent capacity. One small inside pocket and one outside pocket with a small fastener. Also love that the bag has a secure zipper. Happy with this one!

My go to purse
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this purse and I wear it all the time. I have a few smaller versions of this but once I purchased this one I cannot put it down. It hold a lot and it's perfect for traveling. I love the 2 straps and left them both on.

Lovely bag
The size and shape of this bag is just right for a small daily bag. Love the wider strap. My only complaint is that the interior and exterior pocket could use some refining, but I do love that they are durable leather.

Best purse I've ever had!
