The High Waist Wide Leg Jeans

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried these on in the store not thinking that they would fit me but I was pleasantly surprised when they worked. I am 5”2 130 pounds and usually wear a size 4 and even sometimes a 6. These have just the perfect amount of of stretch and even though they aren’t petite sizing the fit was perfect. The length is great with a chunky shoe and even though they have a bit of a higher waist it’s still doable. Plus the wide leg isnt too overwhelming

I absolutely loved these jeans when I first bought them. Unfortunately, after only two months (and just a handful of wears), they ripped along the back seam. I’ve always trusted Madewell for quality denim, which makes this especially disappointing. I’ve never had a pair of jeans fail this quickly before. For the price, I expected much better.

Super disappointed because they were so comfortable and the most flattering jeans I've ever had. Can't say I've ever had a pair of jeans rip right where these did so it's unfortunate.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got these in Pattson wash (dark blue) a few months ago and have been wearing them nearly every weekend and on WFH days. As other reviewers note, they are very comfortable, soft, and well cut; the fit is just about perfect. My gripe is that after only a few months of wear and careful care (I only wash occasionally in cold water and dry on low, leaving to hang dry while damp), they have faded quite a lot, especially around the knees. This is disappointing because they were not cheap, and they look less polished now.

Okay, these jeans were perfect. PERFECT. Got tons of compliments and were so comfy. Unfortunately, I only had them for about three months and after just as many washes, they developed a hole near the crotch. I've been buying Madewell jeans for years and this has never happened. I took them into a store to return and the cashier said she had the same thing happen to these jeans.

I’m 5’6’ purchased size 31 on Jan 6, 2026. I love the fit and wide leg of these jeans. They are very flattering since I hold a lot of weight in my legs and skinny jeans are not very flattering on me. I’ve only had these 6-7 weeks and I noticed they had a flaw in the material near the zipper. I’m very surprised to see this, especially after only a few wears. SO DISAPPOINTING. This is my first time buying Madewell and I was so excited to try them. I’m not sure what I’m going to do.
