The Gemma Mule (Women)

These shoes are lovely. I’m so glad I ordered them. They are perfect for work. And they are fairly comfortable for a flat shoe. The reason for the two stars is that for as expensive as they are, I’ve only owned mine for 2 weeks and the foot bed liner, the tan strip of leather, is already coming up. I predict that it will be completely off in a month. And then I’m not sure how I will wear them. It’s disappointing to pay that much for shoes, to have them fall apart.

This is my second pair of Gemma mules. I purchased the brown ones last year. These shoes have a unique design with a flattering pointed toe. These are comfortable but don't offer a lot of support. They look great with skinny ankle jeans and a peasant top or wide leg ankle pants and tee.

I ordered my regular size and found these so big I wasn't sure they'd stay on. This is the first time I've ever had this problem since I have wide feet. The shoes are well made and nice looking; the brown color is beautiful. Ultimately, I returned them because I thought that in my size they looked clownishly big. I think these probably look great on people with small feet.

I had to have these mules, and when I found out madewell and Nordstrom were sold out in my size I was bummed, until Nordstrom restocked! I am so happy I got them when I did. They need to be broken in a little because they are leather, but they are so cute! I am usually a 7.5 or an 8 and I sized up to a 8 per reviews and it was a perfect fit.
