The Everyday Pleated Cotton Poplin Trousers

These pants are so cool. The fit is lovely, loose but not overly, so they’re easy to to dress up or down. Since they’re poplin, the wrinkle easily but the wrinkle lends to the look.

I bought these on sale and wow what a surprise deal. I didn't expect to llike them so much when I grabbed them off the sale rack. I live in a hot climate so I can see wearing these into the fall. The poplin is lightweight but with a nice drape. Yes, they will need to be ironed. I'm 5'3" muscular with an inverse triangle shape--my shoulders are wider than my hips. These pants give me some volume on my bottom half, creating the illusion of curves and defining my waist. To the girlies with a straight body shape and narrow hips, you need these. They also fall right at the ankle and you can do a cute cuff, although they hit close to the ankle as-is. Love them.

I wore them only once and the front pocket tore along the seam. Very poor quality.

Well-made (Madewell), ran large, I love the style and detailing of these, very well-made, but...the fabric is really thin and light. I just couldn't see how these would launder or iron. Returned.

I bought this pants last month and this is perfect pants. I love this. Every time i wear it i get a lot of compliments. I'm 5.4 and the length is perfect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these in the green color and I had to size down. The fit around the waist is so flattering low slung but not too much. The material is soft, smooth and perfect for transitional outfits. I'm 5'4" and I like the longer length for heels, but then you can roll the cuff with sandals...and with this material, it will actually stay cuffed! I only removed one star because the pants can wrinkle easily...nothing that a spray bottle with water can't fix. I just ordered the beige as well...
