Sizing runs extremely small
I’m a 31 in 5 other pairs of Madewell jeans, but in this I’ll need a 33. The sizing runs extremely small in the waist and butt. I was hopeful because the barrel leg Jean in 31 fits me perfectly with room to spare, but for some reason this balloon style, which appears similar to the barrel leg, has no room in the waist and butt. I lined up the 31 I purchased in this jean with that of the barrel leg I own and the waistline is at least an inch to two inches shorter than the barrel jean. Come on, Madewell, stop playing games with women’s sizing. We lived through the nineties and we’re not going back to Kate Moss thin! We know better now and you are going to lose our business if you keep this nonsense up.

Lovely Jean
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beautiful jeans and very stylish. You do need to size up due to the cotton count, they aren’t stretchy. Also, a little issue with the front pockets, just one pocket shows the inside lining from the outside. It doesn’t feel tight, so I’m going to get my alteration lady to take a look.

Very Fun
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love these jeans and love that they are not super balloon jean style. These are very fun jeans to wear out! Will say that I think because of the bejewels it's a lot more rigid so when you sit it can be a bit uncomfy. Maybe size up?
