Perfect sized crossbody/shoulder bag!
I absolutely love this bag. I thought it was going to have a short shoulder strap that wouldn’t convert into a crossbody length, but it’s a perfect crossbody length that sits at my hip. For reference I’m 5’ 5” and I have a very long torso. It’s big enough to hold everything from a large wallet to sunglasses, my iPhone, and keys. I threw a makeup bag in it, and there’s room to spare! I also love the vintage finish of the leather.

Really disappointed
I was initially really pleased with my bag, but after 3 months of regular use, the pin that holds the clasp together broke off. I tried to reach out for options to replace or repair parts, but none were available. It was nice while it lasted, but this seems like a design flaw or hardware dysfunction. I would not recommend this bag to anyone.

Don’t hesitate to get this beautiful bag
I kept going back and forth on whether or not get this bag, or another. The fact that it said it’s suited perfectly to carry a book sold me. I absolutely love this purse! I always carry a book with me and this has room for all of my other belongings too. It’s not heavy on the shoulder and it’s quality made. Can’t beat the price for such an awesome bag!

Best shoulder bag!
I finally found the best shoulder bag. I’m 5 feet tall a petite size 0. I have been looking for a durable shoulder bag for a long long time. This bag fits my small wallet, large iPhone, credit card case, a small bottle of hand sanitizer, hand sanitizing wipes, keys, a small hand lotion, a face mask, a recycle bag, and still very roomy. In the winter, I’m going to include my earmuffs. I put the strap at the first hole at its shortest to use as a shoulder bag. I put the strap at the middle hole to use it as a crossbody.

Great bag
I love this bag, it’s got a nice vintage look to it, it’s spacious, and the leather is of great quality. I really like the clasp on the front flap too, it’s a little different that a typical magnetic closure and it’s raised away from the leather slightly so I don’t scratch it when I go to open the flap.

Classic bag
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the bag in black. I hesitated because nothing about this bag on Madewell's website got me too excited or stood out. I'm so glad I pulled the trigger. In person, this bag is elegant, classic, chic, functional, high quality, a very nice medium size, and very well made. I also bought the Madewell Transport Crossbody bag and the camera bag, and this one is my favorite.
