These '90s-inspired straight-leg jeans sit high at the waist with a snug fit through the hips and thighs and the holds-you-in sorcery of Magic Pockets in front. The vintage-y structured denim has a touch of stretch for a broken-in feel. Please note: this fit runs small, designed to fit high and tight through the waist, so we recommend ordering one size larger than your normal size. For a more easy and relaxed look, we recommend going up two sizes.

Great Jeans for Everyday Use

These jeans fit great! Stretchy material and hit at all the right places. Was decently high waisted but not too tight, which makes it great for wearing to a desk job. I am 5’4 and these jeans are not too long to wear with sneakers or flats!!

Not as pictured

The ones I recieved had a contrasting black stripe of fabric running down both lateral sides of the legs. Returned and didn't even try them on.

Great Jeans for Everyday Use

Received used jeans

The jeans seem nice, however, they were missing a tag and were clearly used! There was a black scrunchie stuffed in the pocket! Gross! I called Nordstrom customer service and they weren’t able to offer anything and now the jeans are sold out in my size. I suggest ordering directly from Madewell.

wanted to love but

I wanted to love these jeans. I love madewell’s black jean material. These were too big (I could have sized down to a 25). I am normally a 26-27. They are extremely long.

Go-to Jeans

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These jeans have a 90s feel to them. Just the right length as a 5’6” girl. Comfortable. And can be worn dressed up or down. It has a vintage look to it. Denim feels good too.

Great jeans

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I took a size 25 (I'm a 26 in most jeans of any brand) because of the reviews that said they stretched but it was too small. I returned it for a 26 and feels so much better.I like that the belmere wash (black) feels like denim and it is a true black, other brands that carries black jeans sometimes feels like something else than denim.
