The '90s High Waist Straight Leg Jeans

I’m 43 and loving these jeans. They feel thick and well made like jeans back in the days. I’m somewhere between a 6-8 and the 29s fit just right. Initially a little belly roll coming out but they loosened up just fine throughout the day. Nice high rise. Perfect for everyday wear. Decent price while on anniversary sale.

The waist on these jeans is so tight compared to the rest of them that I sized up, but they still didn't fit. I ordered two sizes up but I am doubtful that they'll work. The waist on the single size up gaps in the back, but is tight up front. I don't remember jeans in the 90's fitting like this. They also have extra material around the crotch. I've ordered another size up, so maybe they'll fit loosely enough to be comfortable. I like he thick denim material. Who are you making these jeans for?!

I ordered my normal Madewell Jean size (29) and they fit everywhere except my waist (too small). Consider sizing up or skipping if you have any curves.

Wanted to love these!! My normal size is 26 but I usually order a size down in Madewell jeans. Ended up ordering these in a 26 and could barely zip them up. Tighter in the waist and legs.

All my Madewell jeans are 27s, same style. Ordered a 27 and could barely get it over my hips. Madewell - do better. This was so upsetting.

Purchased size 29 and it's a little loose which I like. I am 5'5", 132lbs so I do not expect to look like the model. Reminds me of Gap jeans from the 90s and if you like that look and material, it is for you.
