Comfortable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As comfortable as an old friend, these jeans were made for the weekend. Good quality and a bargain as I got them on sale.

Very Relaxed Fit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Madewell has these branded as "slim," but be warned: there is nothing slim about them.
In fact, I own a pair of relaxed tapers from Madewell, and these are more of a relaxed fit than those. They are big in the hips, thighs, knees, and calves (interestingly, the opening is a bit tapered and the only thing that remotely approaches slim designation).
Chatted with a Madewell rep and was basically gaslighted about my fit concerns. Oh well!
Had high hopes for these, and the denim quality seems quite good and might win me over some as time passes, but at the moment I can't help but feel highly disappointed.
Still chasing the ghost of my first pair of Madewells: the slim fit eco edition in Leesburg wash. Best jeans I've ever owned (unfortunately, I've worn them so much I can barely patch them anymore now).
To anyone considering these, my recommendation is to pass if you're looking for a slim fit. You can do better (and so can Madewell).

High quality selvage jeans for men!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Madewell jeans for men!! The Authentic Flex is 1% stretch is my favorite. Looks and feels heavier weight, but just a little flex for comfort. The selvage jeans from Madewell have held up great, so I got a second pair! The washes are really good too. Not too trendy, not too boring 👌🏽 Timeless

great deal!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unheard of to get stretch selvedge at this price. i'd recommend sizing down if you're between sizes because of the stretch and the fact that the "slim" fit, is really "not so slim," definitely looser on me than i'd like and i'm wide.
Love the way they look though, nice for spring/summer...

Sizing, fit is way, way off
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm wondering if these jeans might be a late April fools prank? They are huge and not at all "slim fit." These are a baggy, more of a relaxed fit jean. Hey, I get that that's a look some folks are into at the moment, but some of us are old enough to have lived through that fashion era and aren't interested in dressing like our teenage selves. But back to the sizing: not only are they big in the waist, butt, thighs and calves, but they are long in the inseam, too. Maybe that's because they are selvedge and some people like to roll them up? The quality seams fine, although I'm not a fan of distressing the hems. Overall, I am greatly disappointed. I picked these up final sale, so I guess you got me, Madewell -- I'm the fool.
