very soft and romantic
Soft cotton material and not see through. This looks incredibly similar to the Doen Henri blouse, especially in black. It’s just a tiny bit longer in length than the Henri. Great material and falls well. Order your regular size.

Quality control issues
One side of this top was a different size than the other. I got the black, which was pretty and not see thru. It was TTS through the middle of the top, but one sleeve was about four inches shorter than the other. There was also a difference in the hem which made it look like an asymmetrical hemline. One side was about an inch longer than the other. I can't believe this even happened and got past quality control, but sadly it did. The fabric was light and flowy and it's cute in theory, but if you receive one like mine, you will have to return like I did. Waste of time!

V is too low for petite
I really like the look of the item, but being petite with a short torso, the v neck comes down way too low showing my bra. I would always have to wear something underneath and that changes the look. I miss Nordstrom petite sizes - now we petites are just ignored.

Style trying too hard
The lightweight fabric of this top makes it a great choice for hot weather, however it is much too fussy. I laughed at myself when I put it on. The black looked much better than the kale which made me look like I was wearing dried seaweed. It is larger than a regular small. . . with my wide shoulders I looked like a Victorian linebacker. Sorry Nordstrom and Madewell. I'm grateful for your return policy as both tops are being returned.

Doen Look Alike
This is a great top that is very similar to the Doen top at a much better price point. I have this in black and red, and purchased it in the kale color, but ended up returning that one. The kale color looks different in person, with a shimmer to it that reminded me of scales on a fish. Thinking about this in light blue as well. Sleeves are the perfect length, and you can wear them with or without a layer underneath. Great light summer top!

a keeper in a less drab color
Cute top, but I reluctantly returned this because I would prefer a lighter, brighter color in this style. It runs large so I sized down to a small from my normal medium (I’m normally a size S in Madewell) and it fit perfectly. I have a long torso and the length wasn’t too short. The material is nice, but the kale color (an army green) felt like an odd choice for such a feminine top.
