Hot Chocolate

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually don't buy knitted garments because they cling to me in an unflattering fashion. I tried a similar skirt, from another boutique, and it did exactly what I expected it to do, cling to my unflattering parts. This skirt gives me a smooth look, and the brown color is gorgeous. I also bought the matching top to go with it. I have a similar color cami to wear underneath, and it works perfectly. I highly recommend this skirt.

too sheer

Love that this is 100% cotton and the chocolate brown color. However, I have to return due to length/sheerness. at 5'3", this skirt is maxi length on me, but a little high waisted, which is actually perfect with cropped tops. However, that means the sheer portion of the skirt is too close to my butt in the back instead of fully covering it. So disappointing because I was wanting a skirt like this for months and thought this one would be perfect.

Heavier material than I was expecting

But going to keep, slightly large on medium which is my usual size. Color is slightly different than pics show more of a different almost greenish brown?

So cute

I got the brown skirt and matching top. the set is super cute, flattering and great quality. I'm usually a small, sometimes xs in madewell depending on the garment, and got a small in this. I was eager to wear it so I removed the tags before realizing i actually would've preferred a medium. since it is low rise and bodycon, it runs a bit tight on hips. I'm 5'2" and the length is fine with heels but I would need to hem it a bit to wear with flats.
