Good quality and size
Exactly what I was looking for. Nice quality material, room for my checkbook and some credit cards but not too bulky. The closure is not a snap closure, slightly annoying but not a deal breaker for me. It does have a zippered back pocket for change. I am very pleased with the wallet.

Stingy on Leather Material
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Maxwell should have just asked buyers of this product to donate our hard earned money instead of insulting us with this item that should in no way get to carry the Madewell brand. This crap should have never ever seen the light of day. Final sale. Non-refundable. I'm embarrassed for Madewell to have their label on this crappy excuse for a wallet.

Love this wallet!
I love this wallet! It is well made, smooth 100% leather. I got the navy blue one. It’s slim with 8 credit slots, 2 inside punches, one outside pouch on the front side under the brass fastener and a zipper pouch on the back side. I’m so happy that I got it.

Closure and color issues
My first initial reaction to receiving the wallet was disappointment. The color was not as rich and deep as I expected, however I realize that it will deepen upon use and handling.
The current issue that is frustrating is the button closure. Pushing the leather strap down to force over the button is misshaped the strap. Which in turn, is making me wonder if the button opening will grow bigger over time and make the wallet closure unusable.

best sleek wallet
Best wallet I have ever owned. Purchases in December 2019 it’s now February 2020 and I have nothing but good things to say about it. It’s slim it’s sleek it’s black it’s leather if it’s a lot of cards in has lots of slots. What more do you want. I’m here to purchase the smaller size because I love it so much.
