Great fit, awful pockets
Front pockets protrude out below if you put in your wallet, phone, keys, etc. They are also flimsy mesh that will not last more than 3-6 months and will have holes. Otherwise, the fit is great and the material is ok.

Awesome shorts with one major design flaw
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 4 pairs of these shorts. The 4.5" inseam is the perfect length for summer do-anything shorts. They're airy and comfortable and I love the color selections.
It seems that these are just cropped/hemmed versions derived from the 6" inseam pattern. The issue is that pocket length is obviously sized for those 6" inseam shorts, and wasn't hemmed along with the legs. This means that the weight of anything in the front pockets (phone, keys, wallet, whatever) causes the pockets to sag below the hemline and makes them visible. When crouching down, anything in your front pockets will be fully hanging out below the hemline, and the shorts will bunch up around that object when standing back up, so your pocket and the stuff in it is just hanging out there.
You're so close to the perfect short. Please just hem the pockets along with the legs!

Great pair of shorts!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They fit just right. They're true to size, on the tighter side, so if you want a roomier fit, I'd recommend sizing up one size. I usually wear a size M on most things (34in waist), and this fit perfect but on the tighter side. I'm getting and L for the next pair I order.
Fabric is a bit rough, but it's the nature of them. Just keep in mind in case that matters to you.
