Beautiful, but yes - do size up
Gorgeous, heavy, slinky fabric, with a nice sheen and expensive-looking drape. I normally wear a 0, but sized up to a 2. The size 0 did fit, but the fabric has no "give" or stretch, making me think it would be a little uncomfortable to wear (especially if you wanted to move your arms). I got this in True Black and Matchstick, and they are truly saturated, beautiful colors. Both have light MOP buttons, but the buttons and thread are tonally matched to the fabric color - so, the black's buttons have a dark grey undertone, and the thread is grey; and the Matchstick's buttons have more of a warm rose-gold hue with beige thread. This seems to be a very well thought out and well made piece with great attention to detail. AND - the front buttons are in the right place so there's no gap-osis! Yay!! Waiting for the Rosewood to go on sale!

An “okay” blouse if you don’t want to spend money but I’m returning. I bought because I needed this color blouse. Best silk shirts slim fitted: TWP & Ramy Brook hands down. Pricey but catch them on sale EOY.

Overall great shirt
Really nice looking shirt, I have only worn it once so far, but seems like great quality. My one complaint would be that the buttons are sewn on with white thread, which really sticks out on the black fabric. Otherwise, great shirt that can go from work to dinner out.
