Bubble Faux Fur Bomber Jacket

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this in an XL. I have previously bought Madewell jackets in a XL. All my tops I buy XL from them too. First off, there was a lot of volume to the coat, almost comically so, especially when I put it on. I am a curvy tall gurl at 5'10 for reference. I think a L would have been a much better size to help reduce all the unnecessary fabric gathering, but I knew it wouldn't work because already the bubble hem on the waist was bothering me and felt a little restrictive. I just didn't like the elastic overall on the waist and I knew it would be tighter in a size down. I felt like it accentuated my stomach area too. I thought I would like the bubble design look, but the volume and comfort just didn't justify me keeping it. The color is pretty; the material though felt a bit itchy on the collar on my bare skin. And the collar looked massive too. I can see this being nice on someone else though who finds the fit more comfortable and can rock the look better.
