Boat Neck Shirred Linen Minidress

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very hopeful this dress would look flattering on my figure, but, alas, it did not. It was a little too snug through the thigh zone, which didn't look great. The lining also didn't seem to work/align with the outside part. The top half of the dress fit well, which makes me think that sizing up wouldn't have really worked either. And, even with the lining, the dress was still a bit too sheer in the yellow. All in all, it just didn't feel like the quality of the dress matched the price, even with a discount.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm 5'7", 32B-24-34, and the 00 was way too big (and it really shouldn't be!), which unfortunately makes the ruching at the waist look silly, rather than flattering. Madewell has been using different models lately and it's very hard to tell how clothes will fit.
