Perfect Color
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Becklow wash is how I wish all jeans were finished. There’s no obvious distressing. They just look like you’ve worn them for years, or pulled them from your closet in 1995. They are a great weight, too.

Nice jeans, miss skinny fit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First time trying slim fit jeans, I'm a smaller/slimmer guy so I usually prefer a more skinny fit, but madewell is apparently only making a skinny jean in black denim now. I went for these instead and find them really, really baggy. I know that's in style now, but from the front especially these look like a straight leg jean on someone like me with a slimmer leg. However, the denim is great quality and I'm sure I'll make them work with some 90s-inspired outfits, but for my preferred fit (skinny), body type and everyday wear I guess I need to find another brand. Disappointed in Madwell/JCrew for this decision.

Great fit, premium weight, slightly large
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are my first Madewell jeans, but impressed by the quality of the denim. The jeans feel solid, but with a slight stretch - not like normal "stretch" jeans that are made with thin fabric. Details/fraying around cuffs and pockets just enough to look worn in without being too unsightly. Waist and legs slightly larger than expected, but very close to size, would likely size down next time.

Inaccurate color.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The color I purchased (Becklow Wash) appears to be a very light wash in the product photos. The pair I received are tagged correctly but much closer to a medium wash. Unfortunately I purchased two pairs on final sale, so I’m stuck with them.
