When I die I want to be buried in these jeans. They are singlehandedly the greatest pair of jeans I've ever owned (and probably one of my favorite articles of clothing too). Quality is superb, has a little bit of stretch but still maintains its original shape even after 2 years of wear. Makes your legs look longer and your stomach appear flatter. Wash of the denim is gorgeous as well. Can't say enough good things about it. I want to hug whoever created them..seriously they are that amazing.

Super disappointed...hole in knee just after 3 months of wear...
I was super excited to own my first pair of Madewell jeans. I heard so many great reviews from podcasters and other folks that I follow on social media. And they are absolutely right that the fit of the product is AMAZING. However, I was super disappointed when just 3 months into owning these jeans, I already had a hole in the knee, especially since these were my work jeans and I can't have holes in my jeans at work. The customer service stated that this is just part of normal wear and tear. Would not buy again as I'm not sure I want to spend another $100+ on a product that will just get holes in 3 months no matter how great the fit. My last pair of jeans was under $100 and just got a hole after 7+ years of wear. Super disappointed.

The best skinnies!
I ordered 8 pairs of skinnies (all about in this price range) and these are the only ones I kept! The fit is wonderful, lovely high waist, and the destressing is not over stated. Classic, wear nicely (don't stretch out). I'm sure I will be loving these for years to come.

Nice dark jeans - but if you are over 5’7” and have long legs - these will probably be shorter on you than in the picture. I’m 5’8” and the pair I revived were about 3 inches above my ankles. Disappointed. Otherwise, they are nice.

Don't size down; true to size
Well made, I like the material, the dark wash, and the 9" high rise, but the sizing is off! I only have one other pair of Madewell jeans and I followed the suggestions to size down and it worked out just fine. I did the same for these jeans but it was too tight. For reference, I am 5'1" and 110lbs. I usually wear size 25 but sized down to 24. I think a 25 would be much more comfortable!
