The Jean material felt great but I was disappointed with how washed out the black was. It looked like I had owned the jeans for years and the color had gone dull. Wish it was a darker black

These are the best
Very happy with this purchase. These are more of a true denim material as opposed to the stretchiness we've all gotten used to, and I really like that. There is still some stretchiness to it for sure, it just feels more substantial. Love the washed out black look so they can be a bit more casual. Just wore them all day yesterday for the first time, and I love them.

Not same fit as other 10-inch High Waist
Love all the high waisted skinny jeans by MW but these do not have much stretch and I had to go 3 sizes up for a comfortable fit when I wear a 27 I’m the same cut, different color.

Not for curvy women.
I ordered these since I wanted a pair of Madewell jeans with the Starkey wash as I like that material very much. However, the cut is for a much slimmer build than me. Even the calves are too snug. I have ordered a pair that popped up in the plus sizes so I am hopeful they will work out better. These jeans are made well so the name Madewell suits them fine!

Favorite Jeans!
This fit of Madewell is my favorite. I got a light blue last year in same style/fit and when I saw black was so excited. I am normally a size 25 in some Madewell, these I had to do a 26. They loose just enough to feel comfy and don't bag out. Definitely a little thicker of a denim for a skinny jean but has stretch. I love that they aren't paper thin. For reference, I am 5'6 about 125 and the 26's are perfect =)
