BEST jeans for postpartum
These high waisted jeans suck you in right where you need it post partum. They are still really comfortable but give the support you need in the low tummy. Absolutely love them and wear them all the time. Making me feel like myself again! For reference I was 130lbs pre-pregnancy and size 27 in madewell, now I’m at 150 pounds- size 29 fit perfectly. I bought the 28 too because I loved them so much and wanted to have them for as I lose the baby weight. Also I’m 5’4” and length is perfect.

wanted to like it
because we of the 309+ reviews. After of 4 stars. bought 2 different sizes with the idea of keeping one. Both were bad fit on me. For this year I must have tried 20 plus jeans. I started thinking that there’s something wrong with my figure. Material and dark denim are nice but fit was disappointing. As a reference, I am 5’4” 115 lbs. Sadly, both sizes were returned.

Nice Cut/Length--Size Down!
I'm a jean snob and was looking for a replacement for my tried and true Citizens Rocket Highrise--decided to give these Made Well a spin! the waist sits slightly higher and overall look/feel pretty nice...size down as they are relatively stretchy and seem to only get one or two wears out of them before washing to reshape.

Nice denim, bad pockets
I love the way these feel, and think they look great, except the back pockets are way too far apart. I am a size 30, and it just makes my butt look terrible. Maybe these would be fine for somebody smaller. I had to return them. For the price, I expect a flattering behind. If the back pockets were closer, I'd love these

great fit
After reading about these I tried them given most expensive jeans don't fit me well. I'm 5'8" and curvy size 14. They are a touch snug but really slim you down and look great all around. Nice everyday wash, I might get other colors. It also fits a good length right by ankle.

Not what I was looking for
I love the wash of these jeans. It's a nice dark wash with just a little bit of distressing by the zipper. However, the 10 inch rise was too much for me. I have a long torso so I usually love a high rise. This one just felt too high. The special pockets for this style do flatten out your stomach but the downside is your stomach may feel a little squished from the flattening. Also, I felt like this style looked best with a top tucked in. It wasn't as flattering with a sweater or shirt hanging down. I don't really like wearing shirts tucked in most of the time. If you do, these are your jeans! I felt like this style flattened out my butt a bit. I think it's the super high rise. Finally, I wanted the leg opening to be a little bit snugger. As far as sizing, I'm 5''5" and 125 lbs and pear shaped. I originally got the 26. It fit but was quite tight and sausage-y looking in the thighs and they didn't stretch out much. The size 27 ended up being a good size but I still returned them.

the good stuff!
These jeans exceeded my expectations. I've never worn Madewell but these caught my eyes numerous time so I ordered them. I'm 5'6, 145lbs, and a size 28 in almost every Jean. The 28 fits like a glove, and the high rise is amazing! I will purchase more!
