Buy This Coat!

First off, I have had a blue blazer made by Hart Schaffner Marx (bought at Nordstrom) for at least 6 years and I love it. HSM clothes are so well made that the price you pay may be a little more, but it's so worth it. Unlike Macy's and Brooks Brothers, the HSM are built to last....This MacBeth Car Coat jacket is awesome. I usually buy my coats/blazers one size up to allow for wearing a sweater underneath but after reading the reviews here, they said this coat runs big, so I stayed with an XL. It was perfect! Two things the model photos don't show is the beautiful blue liner and that it comes with 3 (Three!) interior pockets! Love interior pockets for my wallet, sunglasses and whatever! I have tried to showcase the coat's liner and exquisite pockets in the photos I posted. I also love the three looks of this coat. You can go unzipped/unbuttoned if you're wearing a sweater underneath for an open look. You can go fully buttoned up, for a completely closed look for warmth. But my favorite look is to just zip up the bib. I also like to wear the collar popped for an extra cool effect! So happy with this purchase!

too big for a Large. I am a relatively big fellow, 190 lbs. The large was too big for me. Returned.

Top notch cold weather coat

This coat was exactly what I was seeking - a warm winter coat with both a front zip and buttons to keep my warm on cold Chicago winter nights, often with a blowing wind. This coat features a quilted lining for added warmth and is slightly oversized so I can wear a suit or sportcoat underneath with no discomfort. I like the medium brown color, it is not commonly found so it sets the coat out and I don't look drab. Hart shaffner Marx always produce quality products. This coat down not disappoint.

Great coat!

I bought this coat for my son. My son tells me it a great coat and is very warm. It fit as expected. The color in the picture is a lighter brown than what it really is, but I still liked the color. Overall, it is a great coat that will wear well.

Warm and well designed

The jacket color is a beautiful camel. The inside pockets perfect. The weight is great for cold weather. I love the bib effect with zipper and buttons. This jacket hangs all and works perfectly!

Runs large

Really loved the color but my boyfriend who usually wears a medium was drowning in the medium size. Bought 2 coats and ultimately returned this and kept the other, but a very beautifully made coat and extremely warm.
