What it does: A lightweight matte setting spray that refreshes skin without disturbing makeup. This innovative formula contains powders, silica and other oil-absorbing agents to help set makeup, rebalance and instantly mattify the skin. It soothes and refreshes skin instantly, reducing the appearance of pores for a smooth, flawless look, and does not hinder the wear of makeup.
How to use: Shake the setting spray well before use to allow powder ingredients to be evenly distributed. Hold the bottle 8–12 inches away from your face and mist directly onto skin while keeping your eyes and mouth closed. Spray before makeup to create a smooth and matte surface. Reapply as needed to mattify or reset makeup throughout the day.

Helps my face stay matte
This has a light smell, helps my makeup set and stay matte for hours. Just make sure you shake it well before spraying it on your face. It even says on the back of the bottle to shake it before applying.

I have always used this and never had a problem with it until now, the last one I purchased is absolutely awful. I don't know what Mac have done to it but no matter how much I shake it, turn it upside down etc I still leaves white spots all over my face !!

White Product All over!!
I'm so disappointed! I have had a smaller bottle of MAC fix it and loved it! I went to a gala thinking I looked great only for people to tell me that I had white product all over my face. After making sure that I thoroughly shook the bottle, I tried it again for a training the next day. People were immediately coming up to me to tell me that white product was all over my face! I'm sad about the return process as well. I just chalk it up as a loss! : (

Setting spray
Tryed this for the first time on one side of my face I had loads of white spots from the spray don't no if I'm doing anything wrong but had to redo my make up .

Leaves white spots on face
I loved this when I tried it out in store and even after 1-2 use at home. But it started leaving white spot on my face after my 3rd use. I thought it's because I did not shake enough, so I tried it is again multiple times shaking vigorously. I don't believe I should have to shake setting spray for 5mins before using. It's a waste of money for me. See picture below.
