Powder Kiss Liquid Lipcolour

This lipstick is the ONE!! Just as I thought the MAC Powderkiss solid lipstick was a HIT (I have 7 of them...yikes!), MAC has honestly out done themselves with this liquid formula..just perfection in a tube, smooth nourishing formula, rich color pay-off & easy to apply, especially for the woman who rarely makes time to apply their makeup..HELLO! It goes on extra smooth like a mousse formula with a color pay off that’s stunning but not over the top, you can even use it without a lipliner (the wand is superb for lining the lips!) & it’s still pretty with a diffuse look if you don’t put on too much. I did NOT have to re-dip the wand for my initial application of the GORGEOUS true RED color -MAC SMASH & the color pay off was rich..it’s looks SUPER pretty on my MAC NC45 complexion & easily smooths my lip lines. I also picked up a more neutral nude/mauve color - “More the Mehr-ier” which is equally beautiful..I am already wanting MORE colors such as “Sorry not sorry” & “Over the Taupe”..come on Nordstrom please RE-STOCK..these are simply AMAZING!

It's really nice to have a new texture and different feel from the norm. The soft powdery and buttery feel of this liquid lip color is fun and makes my lips feel so happy and hydrated! First applying this lipstick was a little strange at first, both the applicator and product are so different but once you put it on you quickly get how great the shape really works for getting your lips fully covered so easily! The color is a beautiful nude, and has a delicious smell of chocolate that isn't overwhelming or nauseatingly sweet. Even though it's not kissproof, it manages to stay on pretty well. Just a little fyi, it tends (at least for me, but i have drier winter and nautral lips) make the creases/lines in your lips look more apparent but works well at blurring your lip line and blending with lip liner. I don't mind at all and can actually appreciate the look but I know some people are not so fond of the appearance, so just thought I'd put it out there. Reapplication and retouches are going to be needed after eating and drinking but overall it's no problem since its so easy to put on, it didn't bother me. I used a brown lip liner from Marc Jacob's and I loved this shade even more! It totally took me back to my high school and y2k days and gave me the nostalgic feels of good times and the great makeup moments of my youth! I took a chance and bought this online without trying it on based n how it looked on the models. I a, African American bit my skin tone is peanut butter and not as dark as the model. Well...I tired it on and it’s gorgeous! My medium to light complexion sistas out there this is a great color! The applicator is great. It goes on matte. T reminds me f the power matte lipstick by NARS but NAS has to dry down to matte whereas this lipstick go’s on matte immediately. I do recommend perhaps using the MAC prep and prime as a base for a little moisture if your lips tend to be dry. I highly recommend as a date night lipstick or a girls night out lipstick!
