What it is: A creamy, emollient-based formula that imparts color and a sheer dewy finish to your body or face, allowing you to create effects that range from sheer layers to dramatic and luscious intensities, depending on the application.
Who it's for: All skin types.
What it does: Its unique water-resistant formula allows the product to be applied directly onto bare skin, eyes and lips. It blends easily when layered over foundation, moisturizer or powder. The long-wearing product lasts for up to eight hours on your face and body and longer on the eyes.
How to use: Apply over your eye area (eyelid and crease) with a brush. Use a pressing motion to build color for a bolder look. For more intensity, use over an eye primer base. You can also apply the eyeshadow over your eye area with a brush, using a circular motion to blend for a diffused look.

Fabulous day to night eyes
I bought as an eyeshadow primer and found it works great on eyes as a day luminous semi transparent look. I discovered that I can add powder shadows after wearing all day and it doesn't need to be reapplied, for an easy day to night look with minimal effort! Hush is a pinkish taupe color and shell is more purplish and more iridescent. I am in my 50's and I've had colleagues ask me what I use on my eyes as it looks good on older women that may have some crepe texture to their lids. Super fast and easy to apply.

Awful on eyes
I was recommended this as an eyeshadow. I have never used anything so bad on my eyes!! Used twice and it creases and comes off- what a waste of money!! Back to powder eye shadow

Sheen without the Frost
I am so happy that Jordan, makeup artist with Mac at the Chicago store, suggested this for me. I have it in Pearl which looks like a a very pale soft yellow gold in the pan and it applies like a dream. I am in my 60's and the days of being able to carry a full-on eye makeup are long gone as it just drags my face down and is aging on my eyes. I wear a light base color on my lids to lighten and brighten(I usually use my Sisley concealer or really any concealer will do) and then I swipe Pearl on top with my finger, add a smudge of very dark brown liner and I am done. This has a sheen, not frost nor sparkle and it really makes my brown eyes come to life. I have also used it at the crescent of my cheekbone and I always like to apply this to my chin and sometimes my forehead. For reference I am an NC-23-27 in Mac, Chanel #30 in Viatlumiere and Peche in La Prairie and my brown eyes have a lot of gold in them.

A Perfect Illuminator
I was talking to a makeup artist, and I asked about mixing a little of the mac strobe crème with my foundation. She said that it wouldn't give me the look I wanted. She said it would make me look a little ashy, seeming as how I am a woman of color, she suggested I try mac improper copper and I love it. It is a must for black women, it's not shimmery like Nars Adelaide. It's just a beautiful sheen that makes your skin glow. I am young, but I would definitely suggest this product to a more mature woman, someone that doesn't want to look like glitter was thrown on her face.

MAC Cream Color Base - HUSH
Wow, Beautiful!!
I use this product as a high lighter on my cheeks and a little bit on my nose. This is cream but not sticky. Since this is not too much shine, my face looks very classy. My color is HUSH. I put this cream Color Base with my finger. I cannot finish my makeup without this.
I got many compliments and was asked "What do you use on your cheeks?" I answered, "MAC Cream Color Base - HUSH".
