M·A·C Liquid Liner is the perfect product for lining and defining the eyes and can be used subtly to enhance or create bold lines. Because it's ideal for creating graphic designs anywhere on the face and body, don't limit the use to just the eye area. Its firm, tapered tip is easy to control and allows for quick and precise application. Long-wearing and smudge-resistant, it's easily removed with makeup remover.

How to use: Apply directly to lid.

This is my favorite liquid eyeliner ever. I've tried many different kinds and this one has the best applicator tip. It has just the right amount of product and dries almost immediately after it is applied. It is so easy to draw the perfect line and stays put after it's dry too.

Does Not Stay, Messy

I am very patient and careful when applying eyeliner, so I can easily handle the application brush and liquid, but the MAC liquid liner is my least favorite of liquid liners... -very thin liquid so color is not rich -smudges very easily even while wearing makeup primer, it becomes messy if you try to blend or fix -only good thing is that if you mess up, it comes off easily -because liquid is so thin, little specks get on face, and when trying to wipe them off, they smear

Doesn't last

When you first apply it, it looks gorgeous. But, within a couple of hours, the look is gone. The liner fades and creates a smudge-like appearance around my eyes, which is not the look I'm going for. It also appears to flake a bit. 4 or 5 hours later, you'll find ash-like black stuff on your nose, under your eyes... wherever it may fall. If you're only going to wear this for the evening (a couple of hours), it may do the trick. But, it's not a good for all day wear. You're better off with Revlon's liquid eyeliner. Does a better job at a fraction of the price.

I used to use the eyeliner that has a soft brush but this one has a hard brush. I have to spend more time try on this liner.

Best Eyeliner/Worst Applicator

The best eye liner - with great consistency, color and staying power - paired with the worst applicator. I use a long thin brush from a cheaper elf eyeliner and dip that into the pot to apply the MAC liner. I've been doing it this way for years because I have yet to find another eye liner as great as MAC's.
