I recently purchased a pair of jeans in size 32. I already own the exact same pair in size 34, so I expected the new pair to be the same, just in a different size. However, I noticed that some details have changed. My older pair has a leather Ariat patch on the back, while the new pair has a fabric patch. The stitching color is also different. The fit is not the same!

What happened to the old fit?! This most recent purchase of my husband’s M8 Ashton Modern Straight Leg Jean was sized much larger than all of the previous ones we have bought. I washed them in hot water and dried them, hoping they would shrink down to the same fit as the previous ones but they were still very baggy. Definitely not what I would call a slim fit at all!
