5’6”, 165lbs. Apple shape. Hard to find jeans that will fit around the belly and be slim in the thighs. These do exactly that. I normally wear 12-14 so ordered the large as recommended. They fit but were a little too confining. Ordered the XL and they fit and feel very comfortable. Keepers.

way smaller than the dark denim
I bought these in the dark denim and they looked great! So I purchased the lighter color. The lighter denim is not the same material, there’s almost no stretch. I’d say they were about 2 sizes too small.

Great, but sizing could be better
These jeans are wonderfully comfortable. They are slim in the butt and thighs, and then straight. Very flattering. Unfortunately the medium was too tight, although I wear a 6 or 8, and the color brighter than I hoped. I exchanged them for a large, which was too loose! But I plan to modify them a bit. If you have cats, be aware that their claws can snag this fabric, and their fur sticks to it.
