'Lyssentials Flattering Leggings

I purchased these leggings in Medium as the color brown/expresso is hard to find. I love Lysse leggings and have several in different colors and styles. I wish the description had the inseam length so I whether to buy them or not. As it turns out, the length was too long for me and I will have to get these hemmed. If the leggings were ankle length, it would have been perfect for me as I'm 5' 3".

They’re nice and thick and keep their shape, that part I like. One thing I dont like is that they’re loose from the lower calf to the ankle, so kind of just hang there... a little like pants? Not snug and stretchy around the ankle like true leggings. Also, the slimming panel in the waist is a little much. I wouldn’t have bought them had I actually read the whole description and knew about it. That part is my fault though :)

These leggings have almost as much compression as Spanx. Normally I wear a medium but I had the presence of mind to order these in XL. I'm happy to report they fit wonderfully. I especially like the higher waist and that the waist doesn't roll down but stays put, adding more support. I ordered the same brand in the denim and the denim inseam measured at 29 inches after washing. This grey pair measured 27 after washing. I washed both of them in cold water and they were hung up damp to dry.
